Sponsoring children in need is breaking the cycle of poverty.
Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.
Founded by Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training.
Today, Compassion helps more than 728,800 children in more than 20 countries.

Special Olympics is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition.
Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. There is no charge to participate in Special Olympics.
Special Olympics currently serves more than 2.25 million persons with intellectual disabilities in more than 200 Programs in more than 150 countries.

Camp Firefly is a very special and unique, once in a lifetime experience for terminally and seriously ill children and their families. This all expenses paid, fun-filled, week-long retreat gives families a chance to get away from the everyday pressure of hospitals, medical treatments, and financial worries to spend quality time with one another, and meet other families who understand their challenges and struggles.
Camp Firefly is designed to bring laughter back into the lives of burdened families. For husbands to see their wives as the sweetheart they married. For wives to fall in love with their husbands again. For kids from all the families, sick and well, to have fun and connect with each other, drawing strength from one another and finding hope for the future.

For twenty-five years, New Beginnings Home has been available to help young mothers who have chosen life for their babies. Do you know someone who is facing an unplanned pregnancy who perhaps is alone, rejected or just needs a place to live? New Beginnings is a safe haven where unconditional love and friendship are the norm and woman can plan what is best for themselves and their babies while having their physical and emotional needs cared for. A woman finding herself pregnant without a strong support base can be frightened, not knowing where to turn. There are unique challenges to be addressed and there are no easy answers. Single parenting, adoption, marriage – what is best? Yet when these options are considered and walked through in a loving environment, each carries a hope and a future for both mom and child.
New Beginnings Home is just as its name describes – a home. The home is nestled in a peaceful rural setting in Western Washington and is beautiful! You will live with house parents and their family and other pregnant women.
